Newton Faulkner

My artist of the month is Newton Faulkner. He is a 23yr old singer songwriter with dreadlocks on and into acoustics. Reminded me of Jason Castro at American Idol but waaay better. Great lyrics and astonishing guitar techniques.
“Prepare to be gobsmacked.”

Listen also to “Dream Catch Me”.

Soko

Discovered this addicting song while browsing at youtube. The song is pretty self explanatory. It has a brutal edge at the lyrics which is why I like it… well aside from the fact that the girl is pretty and has this very cute accent. =D
